iPhone Html Emails Fix?

In AS12.1 Branch the debug log is being created by creating a file called debug.txt in Z-Push Folder (this I did not change - please search the forum what exactly needs to be done).

The Username => Fullname mapping does exactly work how it is being defined... You login to Z-Push Server by using a username. This username is during send/reply/forward being matched against this list and in case a full name is being defined in the list it is being used in the email that should be send.

ok so email address of john@eeeeeee.com. "john" is the username that is a user on the mail server and effectively logs into the Z-Push Server?

So

'john'=>'Smith, John',
'dw2412'=>'Obama, Barack',

So it assigns a nice name instead of just the email address being the "from" field?

Yes. Exactly this way it works. If john is the name you're using for login to Z-Push the name in the IMAP_USERNAME_FULLNAME array will be used.

Afaik the Z-Push 2 does not include IMAP HTML.

What's the reason that Z-Push 2 will not include support for IMAP HTML? There seem to be so many threads about this problem, and given that Andreas has provided a fix for it, it seems strange that it will not be included in the next major release.

Thanks for the good news, Manfred. When you say "at some point", are you referring to when 2.x will be released or when IMAP HTML support will be added to 2.x? I see on the roadmap that 2.x is scheduled for release on 01/01/2012. Will IMAP HTML support be included in the first official release of 2.x?

Hi NFH,

it's because the APIs in Andreas' branch and Z-Push 2 branch are different. In order to add these changes to the release we have to review and re-write them as it is not possible simply to copy them. If someone from the community would do the that, we could add it to the release earlier.

I've done a dirty fix for zpush2 based on andreas backend for mails from imap to phone, this works fine at the moment as far as i have testet it (Samsung Galaxy, iOS, WindowsPhone7, HTC Android).
at the moment i'm working on the other direction (repley & forwarding messages). When I'm done with this i will provide the code, but it takes time because every phone acts a little bit different.
